What is sexual purity?

When people think about what sexual purity is, they come up with ideas of rules and regulations, things that you CAN’T do. What most people fail to realize is that sexual purity is not about what you cannot do, but instead it is about what you choose to do. Purity isn’t some obscure goal that must be attained. It is an active choice that we make every day.

It is the active choice to refrain from sexual activity outside the bonds of marriage. It is the decision to guard your heart and mind by not allowing impure thoughts or attitudes to take over. It is having faith that we are worthy of more than short-term pleasures, and that there is something better planned for our lives.
SEXUAL PURITY ACCORDING TO THE "BIBLE"

What is sexual purity according to the Bible?
Husband and wife become one before God, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Healthy marriages include a sexual component, and sexual relationships are not intended to be outside the marriage relationship. Proverbs 5:15-23, for example, encourages couples to enjoy each other and exclude all others sexually.
Matthew 1:18-19 celebrates the chastity of Joseph and Mary. And Hebrews 13:4 considers sex outside of marriage to be immoral: “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.
